An Important Message From Your Doctors & Practice Team

From 19th July we need your help to stay open

Dear Patient

Throughout the pandemic we have worked hard to make the surgery as safe as possible for our patients, staff and visitors. We have remained open and will continue to do so. However from 19th July we need your help to continue to stay open

Nothing is going to change here at Horton Park Surgery

  • Please continue to wear your mask when visiting the surgery
  • Use the hand sanitisers available and keep your distance from other people
  • Our staff will continue to clean consulting rooms between uses and will continue to wear PPE (Protective Cover)

We do appreciate that this is frustrating but sick and vulnerable patients come to see us and they still need to be protected - remember some of them cannot have the vaccine

We believe that to protect all our patients it would be wrong of us to remove the precautions we have in place

The pandemic is not over and COVID-19 has not gone away

Please help us to continue to keep you all safe

Welcome to Horton Park Medical Practice

Things Might Be A Little Different...

You may notice we are working differently at the practice.

Our phone lines are open from 8am Monday to Friday.

To protect our patients and our staff most of our appointments are currently telephone consultations. If you do require a face to face appointment this will be arranged for you after a after a telephone review.

Please consider we care for over 10,000 patients and our phones are very busy. If your problem is urgent and requires a same day response you need to ring before 10.30am if possible.

Calls after 10.30am will be passed to our administrative team for assessment, care navigation and processing. Alternatively you can fill out an e-Consult, you will recieve a response from us by the end of the next working day.

If your e-Consult is assessed as requiring same day treatment an appointment will be made for you.

If you have a face to face appointment please up to 10 minutes before your appointment and ensure you have a face mask.

Help us to help you.
