Updated April 2022
An Important Message From Your Doctors & Practice Team
Throughout the pandemic we have worked hard to make the surgery as safe as possible for our patients, staff and visitors. We have remained open and will continue to do so. However we need your help to continue to stay open
- Please continue to wear your mask when visiting the surgery NHS Patients, staff and visitors must continue to wear face coverings in healthcare settings from 19 July 2021. There is no change for NHS therefore Horton Park and New Hey Surgery will continue to enforce face covering
- Use the hand sanitisers available and keep your distance from other people
We do appreciate that this is frustrating but sick and vulnerable patients come to see us and they still need to be protected - remember some of them cannot have the vaccine
Please help us to continue to keep you all safe
Welcome to Horton Park Medical Practice
Things Might Be A Little Different...
You may notice we are working differently at the practice.
Our phone lines are open from 8am Monday to Friday.
Please consider we care for over 10,000 patients and our phones are very busy. If your problem is urgent and requires a same day response you need to ring before 9.30am if possible.
Calls after 9.30am will be passed to our administrative team for assessment, care navigation and processing. Alternatively you can fill out an e-Consult, you will recieve a response from us by the end of the next working day.
If your e-Consult is assessed as requiring same day treatment an appointment will be made for you.
If you have a face to face appointment please up to 10 minutes before your appointment and ensure you have a face mask.
Help us to help you.
